In 1985 Lawrence helped Teresa Hale realise her vision of creating The Hale Clinic, one of the largest complementary health clinics in Europe.He assisted her in giving strategic business advice and acquiring and obtaining planning consent for the buiding in Park Crescent. Lawrence has been interested in alternative, complementary and integrated health since the early 1980's. It was a privilege for him to support such an important initiative. The photo above shows Lawrence greeting HRH Prince Charles at the official opening, as Teresa Hale looks on.

In 1992 due to his support of CORE. a charitable initiative to assist in the healing of drug addiction, Lawrence invited them to hold their Charity Fundraising luncheon at The Mayfair Hotel ( then owned by The Intercontinental Hotel Group.) acting as host at the function he was privileged to be seated at lunch next to HRH Princess Diana, who was the Charity's Patron. The photo shows Lawrence greeting Her Royal Highness at the Hotel's main entrance.

In 1999 Lawrence spent five days in dialogue with HIs Holiness The Dalai Lama. The event, which was known as The Synthesis Dialogues, brainstormed on future scenario planning. The event took place in Daramsala in Northern India. After the event His Holiness blessed the group by initiating the participants into the Bhodisattva Initiation.

On Monday 24^th. October 2005 Lawrence chaired the 10^th. Annual Conference on Sustainable Innovation, at Farnham Castle, Surrey, UK. There were 110 delegates from over 20 countries at senior levels of Government, NGO's, Academia and Corporations.
